Learn about the pro-housing movement and how you can make housing more affordable near you!
We’re dedicated to tackling housing issues in the Research Triangle. Whether you’re in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, or the surrounding areas, we’re here to make sure everyone has a place to call home. We are a volunteer-run grassroots organization, organized in Summer 2024.
We’re local advocates AND we’re part of a national movement to solve the housing crisis by pushing for policies that make it easier to build more homes and more affordable options. The Triangle has already seen some big wins — new developments and zoning reforms that help create more housing choices — but we know there’s a lot more work ahead. The housing supply is still far from meeting the needs of our fast-growing community.
We're here to advocate for policies and projects that address the root causes of the current housing crisis. Read more about our solutions here.

Policies we support
Allow more housing in every neighborhood, especially historically affluent and exclusionary neighborhoods, removing barriers to both subsidized affordable and market rate housing
Reform structures that incentivize communities to say no to new homes, including tax systems and car centric transportation systems.
Make housing permits fast and fair, removing arbitrary barriers to both subsidized affordable and market rate housing.
Enact policies that support current residents having stable housing choices amid growth.
Increase funding for subsidized affordable housing through a wide variety of mechanisms, including direct subsidies.
